It was a magically beautiful day for Lauren & Karl’s fairytale wedding at the Smith Barn in Peabody, MA. They said their “I Do”s in the woodland gardens behind the Felton House, and we took photos all around the barn as the sun set over the apple trees. Lauren’s flower crown was the perfect accessory, she looked so whimsically romantic!! They went on to celebrate in the barn, dancing away to the awesome tunes provided by Element 78!!
I couldn’t think of a better couple to kick off my wedding season with than Amanda & Gabe – their smiles were so infectious, and we were having fun from the moment I got there! It was clear how excited they were to be getting married, and how much love they share. They got ready the Sheraton Commander, and then headed over to Radcliffe Yard to do their first look. After their ceremony at St. Peter’s Parish in Cambridge, we headed back to the Sheraton Commander, where an epic dance party ensued! I’m so glad I got the chance to be a part of Amanda & Gabe’s celebration – even though it still felt like winter and snow covered the ground, their wedding was absolutely heartwarming… it may sound cheesy but I had to say it!!! :D
Alina and Brendan wanted a winter wedding, which would usually happen when you book your date for February. This happened to be a very tame, warm winter, and there was absolutely no snow on the ground for their celebration. But they were both so laid-back and what was supposed to be a rustic winter wonderland, felt more like a rustic spring wonderland… and they were happy either way! The Barn at Gibbet Hill was beautiful – rolling hills, rustic charm and an incredibly helpful and talented team of staff members!
Meg and Colin decided to tie the knot on a lovely fall afternoon at the gardens at Elm Bank in Wellesley, MA. They wanted a low-key celebration with close friends and family, and it was just that. Even when Meg and I got briefly locked in a courtyard, we remained cool and collected! After their First Look next to Weezy’s Garden, we did some photos before the ceremony in the Bressingham and Italianate Gardens.
Meg and Colin’s ceremony was sweet and personal, performed by Meg’s aunt who shared some great stories about Meg growing up. Then guests were serenaded by an enthusiastic bagpiper on their way to the cocktail hour and reception in the Hunnewell Building.
After some toasts, great food, and special dances, it was time for the entertainment – and the band did not disappoint! Guests were tearing up the dance floor all night long. Thanks Meg & Colin for making us a part of the celebration, and thanks to all the other vendors who helped make the day great!
Kara and Charles had a very special, if a little rainy, wedding day. They were not only getting married, but forming a new family that also included Charles’s two sons. Kara was a little nervous about the weather, but as soon as she saw Charles all her concerns melted away!!
They held their ceremony indoors in Lake Pearl‘s East Ballroom, and then it was time to sneak outside for some photos! After a little bit, the sun came out briefly and we raced down to the Lake Pearl beach and boathouse for a few more photos. Then it was back to the East Ballroom to celebrate!!! It ended up being a great party, and it was easy to see how happy the new family was. Thanks to all the vendors that helped make it a great day!
