Emily & Matt – Boston Marriott Peabody Wedding

Emily and Matt had a beautiful double wedding celebration at the Boston Marriott in Peabody. The day started off with a traditional tea Ceremony – a ritual to introduce the newlyweds to each other’s family, and a way for the newlyweds to show respect and appreciation to their parents. The newlyweds kneel in front of their parents, serving tea to both sides of parents, as well as elder close relatives. Parents then give their words of blessing and gifts to the newlyweds.
The tea ceremony was followed by a traditional western ceremony, where the bride and groom exchanged rings and vows. The whole day was topped off with dancing and drinks in the gorgeous Marriott ballroom!
